1. What Information We Collect

ShortsWave collects information about you as described below. As set out below in more detail, we use and in specific cases combine that information to operate, tailor content, personalize and adjust and improve our Services, and to send you messages or personalized information about our service, new features and more, including for marketing and promotional purposes in accordance with your preferences.

Device information:

When you use any of our applications, we or third party partners will collect and process certain information about you, including your unique device ID (persistent / non-persistent), hardware type, device maker, media access control ("MAC") address, international mobile equipment identity ("IMEI"), the type and version of your operating system ("OS"), language of the OS, your time zone, the screen size of your device, mobile device Advertising ID (known as "IDFA" for iOS devices, or "Android Advertising ID" for Android devices), your general geolocation information (city/country based on your Internet Protocol ("IP") address) and your email address (if you have connected to Facebook or Google+). This information is useful to us for troubleshooting and helps us understand usage trends so that we can improve and personalize the Services for our users. Device identifier / information such as device type, hardware model, device maker, device operating system and its language or other technical data like screen size, or combination of this data, is also collected and used to determine device compatibility and optimal settings.

Log information:

When you register to use the Services, we create a unique user ID to track your use of our Services. If you log into ShortsWave with a social networking credential, such as with a third-party account, we will ask permission to access basic information from that account, such as your name and email address. You can stop sharing that information with us at any time by removing ShortsWave's access to that account. When you do not log in to our services, we store the information we collect with unique identifiers tied to the application and device you're using. This collection helps us do things such as maintain your language preferences across browsing sessions.

Location information:

This refers to data about the user's geographic location, which can be obtained through the device's GPS, Wi-Fi, or cellular network signals. This information can be used to provide location-based services or content within the app.

Mobile Analytics:

Like most mobile applications, we use mobile analytics tools to collect certain information about your usage of our mobile applications, as well as on your device and the health of our Services to allow us to better understand the functionality of our Services on your device and for app optimization purposes. Such tools may record information such as how often you use the application, feature usage, and usage statistics, events that occur within the application, aggregated usage and performance data.

Contact information:

If you provide feedback or contact us, or otherwise provide information voluntarily to us, our employees, or our contractors, you contact information, any information you voluntarily provide and any associated data will be collected by us as well.

Usage information:

We also collect information regarding your use of the Platform, e.g., how you engage with the Platform, including how you interact with content we show to you, the ads you view, content you read and problems encountered, the content you like, the content you save.We also infer your preferences, including your interests, gender and age for the purpose of personalising content. Where appropriate, we will also use this information for the purpose of serving personalised advertising and to tell you about new services and opportunities.

In-App purchases:

We may collect your payment information if you are a paying customer. This information is required to complete a commercial transaction on our Platform. We use this information to enable and fulfill your transaction. If you choose to use any third-party's service service to finalize and pay for your order, you will provide your credit card number directly to the third-party. Please review the relevant app store's terms and notices in respect of the handling of such data. So that we can credit your account with the correct value, we keep a record of the purchases you make, the time at which you make those purchases and the amount spent.

Information from Third Parties:

You may choose to share certain data with us from third parties or through your use of the Platform, we may collect such third party data automatically. We have set out further detail on the information we receive from third parties below:

Social networks
If you choose to register to use the Platform with a social networking credential, such as with a third-party account (e.g. Facebook, Google, Apple), we will ask permission to access basic information from that account, such as your username, email address, public profile and other possible information related to such account. We will likewise share certain information with the relevant social network such as your app ID, access token and the referring URL. You can stop sharing that information with us at any time by removing our access to that account.

Advertisers, Advertising Networks, and Analytic Providers
We use the information collected from you, and your interaction with the Platform and other third-party sites and Apps, to infer your likely interests to provide you with more relevant advertising. This information tells us about websites you've visited, apps you've downloaded and purchases you have made so that we can predict what else might interest you in the future and assess how effective the advertising on our Platform is. We collect this information by the use of Cookies and similar technologies on our Platform and from similar information received from third parties who advertise on our Platform and whose sites/Apps you visit. 7. Retention and Deletion of your data

If you no longer want to use our Services anymore and would like your account deleted, You can use the "Delete account" button to carry out this operation. Once the deletion request is confirmed, we will clear your relevant information stored in the app, subject to applicable laws and regulations. If you have uninstalled the app, you may request deletion of your data at any time by contact us at [email protected]. We will evaluate such requests on a case by case basis. We may keep some of your data for as long as reasonably necessary for our legitimate business interests, including fraud detection and prevention and to comply with our legal obligations including tax, legal reporting, and auditing obligations. You have the ability to delete your Account, and you should understand that upon deletion of your Account, you will lose the right to access or use all or part of the Platform.Once you choose to delete your account, you will not be able to reactivate your account or retrieve any of the content or information you have added (including free content and paid content).

If your account is terminated, access to your username, password, and any related information or content associated with your account may be terminated. As we do not guarantee the permanent availability of your content, you should make and maintain backups of any content you value at your own cost.

8. Advertisement; Third Party Content and Services

We allow other companies, called third party advertisers and advertising networks, to serve advertisements within our Platform to deliver interest-based advertising to you about third party products and services. These third party advertisers and advertising networks use technology to send the advertisements and links that appear on our Platform directly to you.

When you use our Platform, some third party tools (SDKs) integrated within our Platform may collect and use certain information collected from your device for the purpose of advertisement display and optimization. Such information may includes device manufacturer, model, and operating system, screen size, orientation, audio, battery, device memory usage, carrier name, IDFV, IDFA or Android Advertising ID, time zone setting, locale settings (e.g. country and preferred language) and IP address. These third-party tools may also use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons) to measure their advertisements' effectiveness and personalize the advertising content delivered to you.

If you do not want to receive advertisements targeted to your interests from us, iOS and Android operating systems also provide options to limit tracking and/or reset the advertising IDs (For more information about how to change these settings go to: https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=zh, https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202074). However, turning off personalized advertisement functions will limit our ability to deliver relevant advertisements to you but may not necessarily reduce the overall number of advertisements you receive.

We may, from time to time, modify the Policy. If such change has been made, we will provide you with clear and adequate notice of such modifications or updates, using appropriate methods as deemed necessary under the circumstances. These notices may include but are not limited to, in-app notifications, email communications, or updates on our website. By continuing to use our app or services after the Policy has been updated, you acknowledge and accept the revised terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may discontinue using our app or services.

We, and our vendors and service providers use cookies and other similar technologies (e.g., web beacons, flash cookies, etc.) ("Cookies") to automatically collect information, measure and analyze which web pages you click on and how you use the Platform, enhance your experience using the Platform, improve our services, and provide you with targeted advertising on the Platform and elsewhere across your devices. Cookies enable the Platform to provide certain features and functionality. Web beacons are very small images or small pieces of data embedded in images, also known as "pixel tags" or "clear GIFs," that can recognize Cookies, the time and date a page is viewed, a description of the page where the pixel tag is placed, and similar information from your computer or device.   • The right to non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for your exercise of privacy rights conferred by the CCPA.

How you exercise your rights

  • Method. You may exercise your rights by using methods described in the "Your rights of personal information" section. You may only make a verifiable consumer request for your "right to know" twice within a 12-month period.
  • Verifying your request. We only respond to your requests to your request when we can verify your request. In order to verify your request, we may need additional information, If we cannot verify your identity, we will let you know.
  • Range of our response. Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request's receipt. If we cannot comply with any portion of a request, the response we provide will also explain the reason, if applicable.
